The Art Cologne reflects the performance of the art trade in Europe and overseas at a high level. At the fair, many galleries from local and foreign countries show art of classical modernist art after 1945 as well as modern and contemporary art. Represented are paintings, sculptures and installations, videos, as well as photography, and works on paper editions and multiples are represented. The first day of the trade fair is usually reserved for trade visitors and journalists.
