At the international exhibition for model railways and model building "Faszination Modellbau", which takes place once a year in Friedrichshafen, visitors experience the full range of model building. Not only railways, but also aircrafts, ships, trucks, cars and military vehicles are presented here and their owners show what is possible with their models. As a result the tremendous experience character of this fair is underlined and creates an unforgettable experience to young and old. Furthermore remote control technology, plastic and cardboard model building belong to the exhibition offer. In general, this model building fair sets high quality standards, has a coherent and experience-oriented exhibition concept and dedicated and quality-conscious exhibitors. Due to its catchment area Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Benelux and of course Germany exhibitors may establish new customer groups and enter new markets. The fair is accompanied by many show performances, special shows, hands-on activities and a model railways cinema. At the outdoor area exciting races with radio-controlled models will take place and on the adjacent airport visitors are able to experience spectacular models and breathtaking flying demonstrations at the popular air show "Stars of the Year".
